About us

CUPANI Metals Corp. explores in Quebec Canada to find the next Raglan Mine. A small portion on our 500 square kilometres of exploration claim holds a historic resource of nearly 5 million tonnes 2.2% copper equivalent near surface (not NI 43-101 compliant). Systematic exploration of the wider region, plus below the historical resource (not NI 43-101 compliant) resumed in summer 2024, for the first time since 1987. Insiders own more than half the company shares.

CUPANI Metals’ Blue Lake project hosts Copper, Nickel and PGE mineralization associated with ultramafic intrusions. Our company consolidated all of the La Fosse Platine historical deposit with exploration project formerly referred to as Retty Lake. We refer to the combined project as Blue Lake.

Key Highlights

Highlights about CUPANI Metals’ Blue Lake Copper-Nickel-Platinum-Palladium project:

  • Potentially massive strike length: Our claims cover more than 500 km² of the Labrador Trough, a major geologic feature that is some 850 km long, 100 km wide and which has produced more than 2 billion tonnes of iron ore. The Ungava Trough, located more north, is considered to be part of the same geological event than the Labrador Trough and hosts major Cu-Ni mines, deposits and prospects.
  • We are located in mining country: Quebec, Canada, is one of the world's best jurisdictions for both exploration and mining. In fact, the nearest town to Blue Lake was built by an iron mining company in the 1950s. That company also built the hydroelectric dam and the railway which takes ore to port.
  • High-grade historical deposit: Copper-Nickel-Platinum-Palladium mineralization has been outlined in the Blue Lake zone through drilling and underground exploration via an adit at Blue Lake. Previous operators reported historical resources of 4.37 million tonnes (metric) at 0.87% Cu, 0.52% Ni and 0.84g/t Pt+Pd for 2.28% copper equivalent (not NI 43-101 compliant). Most of the mineralized zones are still open and several new similar targets have been recently updated by the 2024 ground gravity survey over the Blue Lake zone.
  • Money goes into the ground: The Quebec and Canadian governments combined offer great tax credits to explore. The CUPANI Metals team owns circa 50% of all shares, which means the priority is success.
  • Infrastructure: Blue Lake is 65 km from the town of Schefferville which has its own airport and rail station. Some of that distance already has a gravel road. The majority of the remaining distance is over lakes which are frozen and fully useable for more than 6 months each year. Heavy surface transport from railhead to exploration site has already been accomplished.
